Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Upon receipt of our Confirmation Voucher, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions of the Private Tours of Southern Italy & More Cancellation and Refund Policy.  

For Private Transfers and excursions or sightseeing tours:

Client or travel agent for client may cancel up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email with no penalty assessed.  A full refund will be issued in the same form as the payment within 30 days of cancellation or a credit for 100% of the cost of the service will be applied towards future bookings.  Client or travel agent for client may reschedule the service in lieu of a refund.  The new date or time is subject to availability and any modifications to the service may result in a price adjustment.  



Client or travel agent for client who cancels any tour within 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email forfeits the right to a refund and 100% of the cost of the service will be assessed as a cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI.  

Tours & Transfers:

Please note that all rates are subject to change pick up time/location and drop off time/location are confirmed.  Rates for pick up before 7:00 am and pick up or drop off after 7:00 pm are slightly higher.

Please note that regardless of transfer location (airports, train stations, cruise ports, or other) and if the number of hours required to execute the tour/excursion exceeds the initial number of hours established, Client will be charged the following per hour extras if delays are more than 30 minutes:

Euros 70/hour for  2 people

Euros 90/hour for 4 people

Euros 100/hour for more than 4 people

Vehicles not listed above, ex. Mercedes Sprinter or similar, are subject to applicable per hour fees according to current market costs at the time of service.

Late charges are subject to variations up to 25% over the costs outlined for transfers & tours for reasons including, but not limited to, the specific city where the service is arranged, time of service (early morning/before 7:00am or early nights/after 7:00pm), holidays, etc.

Client is responsible for any variation in cost.

 

For private guide (cultural tours, food tours, hiking): 

Client or travel agent for client may cancel up to 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email with no penalty assessed.  A full refund will be issued in the same form as the payment within 30 days of cancellation or a credit for 100% of the cost of the service will be applied towards future bookings.  Client or travel agent for client may reschedule the service in lieu of a refund.  The new date or time is subject to availability and any modifications to the service may result in a price adjustment.  



Client or travel agent for client who cancels any guided tour within 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email forfeits the right to a refund and 100% of the cost of the service will be assessed as a cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI. 

 

Entrance tickets:

All tickets, once confirmed and purchased on your behalf, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We purchase tickets only if there is also a guide service confirmed with us. 

For cooking classes or any tailor-made unique experience:

Client or travel agent for client may cancel up to 15 days prior to the scheduled pick-up time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email with no penalty assessed.  A full refund will be issued in the same form as the payment within 30 days of cancellation or a credit for 100% of the cost of the service will be applied towards future bookings.  Client or travel agent for client may reschedule the service in lieu of a refund.  The new date or time is subject to availability and any modifications to the service may result in a price adjustment.  

Client or travel agent for client may cancel from 15 days up to 10 days prior to the scheduled date and time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email with a 50% cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI.  A 50% refund will be issued in the same form as the payment within 30 days of cancellation or a credit for 50% of the cost of the service will be applied towards future bookings.



Client or travel agent for client who cancels any experience within 10 days prior to the scheduled date and time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email forfeits the right to a refund and 100% of the cost of the service will be assessed as a cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI. 

 

For boat tours & transfers:

Client or travel agent for client may cancel up to 7 days prior to the scheduled pick-up time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email with no penalty assessed.  A full refund will be issued in the same form as the payment within 30 days of cancellation or a credit for 100% of the cost of the service will be applied towards future bookings.  Client or travel agent for client may reschedule the service in lieu of a refund.  The new date or time is subject to availability and any modifications to the service may result in a price adjustment.  

Client or travel agent for client who cancels any guided tour within 7 days prior to the scheduled pick-up time (CET/CEST time zone) by phone or email forfeits the right to a refund and 100% of the cost of the service will be assessed as a cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI. 

No show:

Client who fails to appear at the designated location at the scheduled pick up time will be considered a “No Show” and forfeits the right to a refund and 100% of the cost of the service will be assessed as a cancellation penalty fee to cover the expenses incurred by PTSI.  Client must contact PTSI on one of our mobile phones no more than 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time if they are unable to locate the chauffeur to avoid being considered a “No Show.”  

All non-used service is non-refundable including cancellation or modifications of services due to delayed pick up time, time-restrictions, traffic delays, road constructions, labor strikes, demonstrations, closure of site/attractions, any unforeseen events outside our control, or any reasons relating to the traveler’s or driver’s safety.
